Make sure users' computers are properly configured for TCP/IP and have the appropriate Windows networking software installed. |

Enable guest access for Windows users. |

If users' computers are in a different subnet from the file server, you need to have a WINS server on your network or LMHOSTS files installed on each of your Windows client computers. |

Note: If Windows computers are properly configured for networking and connected to the network, they can connect to the file server even if they can't see the server icon in the Network Neighborhood window. |
